Electrocoating

A uniform, corrosion resistant finish applied through the electrodeposition process, making it ideal for parts with complex geometries and strict performance requirements. Cathodic Ecoat is cutting edge technology for non-UV applications such as under body components. It is also an ideal primer coat for additional topcoats such as powder and wet spray applications.

Our Process

Niles Manufacturing has two electrocoating lines capable of handling the same size part dimensions.

The first monorail line has a 9-stage zinc phosphate spray system with a 12000-gallon cathodic tank. Capable of handling more robust parts such as castings or heavy duty welded assemblies.

The second monorail line has 10-stage zinc phosphate spray system with an 11000-gallon cathodic tank. This line handles parts that require special film requirements, special packaging, or additional topcoat.
